In person again: eTail Europe 2022
“We’re excited to announce eTail Europe is back in-person in London on 25-26 April, 2022”, says the official site of the event.
Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, eTail Europe had to be postponed for 18 months. The conference in 2020 and 2021 became online events. So far, the organizers expect thousands of retailers to attend, visiting the keynote presentations and panel discussions.
“We are thrilled to bring together our community of over 1.000 retailers to network face-to-face, exchange ideas, and share success stories and lessons in dealing with the latest disruptions brought on by the pandemic, Brexit, supply chain issues and more”, said Zia Durrani, Senior Program Director.
eTail Europe was first held in 2006 as a community-based event. The organizers didn’t want it to feel like a tradeshow, but instead provide insights from experts in the online retail business to growing businesses.
Whereas many events are packed with solution providers, which can also be helpful to starting businesses, eTail wants to make sure that the buyer to seller numbers are equal. That way, visitors will always be interacting with the right people.
This year’s edition will focus on strategies for omnichannel sellers and digital innovations. Keynotes will focus on adapting quickly to changing consumer habits, growth models, the customer journey and generating new revenue streams. “We have put together a program with a speaker faculty consisting of over 50 industry experts sharing their insights on a multi-track agenda which will allow visitors to tailor their experience.”
The organizers expect that over 1.000 of retailers will attend. Most visitors are from companies working in travel, beauty to arts and electronics. Some of the biggest players in Europe will attend, but the event is also suited for starting online sellers.
eTail is designed to help companies increase the profits from their online business.
