Barcelona Hosts ICE 2025: A Global Hub for Gaming Innovation and Business Connections
Let’s meet there!
The International Casinos Exhibition (ICE) is making its debut in Barcelona, hosted at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via from January 20 to 22, 2025. After years of being held in London, this prestigious event has transitioned to Barcelona, drawing over 55,000 attendees from 170 countries. With more than 600 exhibitors and representatives from 200 regulatory bodies, ICE Barcelona solidifies its status as a global hub for the gaming and betting industries.
Spanning six expansive halls and covering approximately 120,000 square meters, the event showcases the latest advancements in gaming technology. Attendees can explore innovative solutions in areas like esports, virtual reality, and online gaming platforms. Alongside the exhibition, a range of educational sessions and conferences delve into critical topics such as regulatory changes, industry trends, and responsible gambling initiatives.
This year, ICE Barcelona introduces several new features to enhance its offering. The ICE Association Assembly provides a platform for trade bodies to promote their initiatives and connect with diverse industry players. Meanwhile, the rebranded World Gaming Forum serves as a venue for discussions on cutting-edge topics, including policy evolution and technological breakthroughs. A key highlight is the Sustainable Gambling Zone, dedicated to showcasing sustainable practices and the gaming industry’s commitment to social responsibility.
Although ICE Barcelona maintains a low-key public presence due to advertising restrictions, its impact on the city is undeniable. With thousands of professionals in attendance, local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues, are experiencing a significant boost. The event is expected to generate an economic impact of approximately 300 million euros, further reinforcing Barcelona’s position as a key player in the global gaming landscape.
